Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but "THEN" we will see everything with perfect clarity.[1] All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now.
I think this is saying that no matter what we 'see' now, it is shaped by our limited perspective and perceptions. We can't even see ourselves clearly, let alone see the things of God perfectly.

I think it important to know the context of the unclear to the clear.

This has to do with the transition of the new Christian congregation from the things not understood then to the things that would be understood in the near future of their time.

Their input for congregation growth and development was by the use of tongues to communicate in a real languages to foreigners and prophecies to reveal things of God.

Prophecies and the interpretations thereof were direct revelations from God to the young babe-congregation members.

Again, when the full development of the word of God [the canon] came to be, this is when things came to be clear [face-to-face]back then.

Your only interested is to discredit the Bible, and the Apostle Paul, my brother in Christ, no matter what is said. If you hate accurate scriptures, you should go elsewhere. You really have no interest in what the man asked. You showed no comprehension of what I said.

Paul, here, is saying that current knowledge and understanding of things is hazy, like looking into a metal mirror where you can see the image, but it is not quite clear, so it can be baffling to view.

Ever tried to see yourself in a piece of unpolished metal. You have to move it all around, and even then you can look quite wierd, baffling.

Note also vs. 9 that total knowledge and total prophesying is at that current time only BIT-BY-BIT [baffling as a total perception].

Then, in the last part of the same phrase, eventually what is seen [knowledge and understanding] will be clear, will be like a real true "FACE TO FACE" image.

At that time, the development of the Congregation was in progress; all the scriptures were not then compiled sufficiently, having only pieces of knowledge and not all the prophecies, things were hazy and baffling.

Although Paul wrote I Corinthians, the maturation of the "Child Congregation" into the "Adult congregation" was a progress in which all members were in volved, as with tongues, prophecies, and knowledge. These gifts provided a kick-start for developing the first associations of Christians. The revealing of knowledge and prophesy was "in-progress."

However, Paul was there to balance their improper use of tongues. He was teaching them that prophecy was a greater gift than tongues; and above all, that LOVE was the greatest need.

For anyone undecided about their WT position, verses one through three about love should open their minds that what the WT claims of itself is not really so. There is no WT love in line with these scriptures!!

When using the gifts, the major requirement was to have a motivation of love. Without love the gifts are of no consequence to the persons having them.

Noteworthy is that the words in verse 9 "when that which is perfect comes...", this is NOT talking about Christ's return, it is talking about the completion of these gifts, where the congregation becomes as an adult; the scriptures have been completed [made perfect, made complete]; and the kick-start has been made complete, made perfect.

Ed Gentry did not make a fool of himself.

What you noted was a transistion of his mood and tone of expression.
He changed as his heart and mind was enlightened and opened. He changed from a cantankerous accusing disposition to the self-admission of his not being balanced in his thinking.

"This" shows a noble mind and a heart with which reason can affect.

It is perhaps a similar mind and heart that perhaps God saw in Paul "before" he became a Christian; and as well, before others become Christians. A teachable heart is one that God will draw to his Son.

What you expressed to VeniceIT was a mere platitude. If after one speaks humbly they should not be attacked once they are there. They are to be loved.

What you found is very significant. Yes, masonry is very very certainly, demonic in nature, origin, and history.

My G-Grandfather was a 32nd degree mason. Much of my family was in masonry. A person with this background in their ancestry can have familial unclean spirits transferred from past generations upon them. I mayself was part of the Demolay organization [young men's masonry].

After I excommunicated the WT, I found out, though my daughter, the danger of this background.

A lot of good information about the demonic nature and history of masonry is found on the internet. Many are deceived by this organization as though it were merely a type of social activity for social influence of sorts. The inside of a Masonic lodge is rather spooky. It reminds one of a satanic-rites room.

When something starts out spiritistic and/or demonic, it does not change the advantages given to Satan just because a few deceived good people or church members decide to become members.

I suggest anyone with this background to throughly pray for deliverance from their ancestral ties in this regard. During prayer, name any family members involved that you know of and ask for forgiveness for those involved and claim rejection of familial [family hand-me-down]spirits for a least 20 generations back.

A really good subject for people to be aware of, and to learn how
Satan can influence people's lives.

My aunt was president of a local Eastern Star group, which is also demonic in history / nature.

Part of my own deliverance had to do with getting rid of those kind of familial spirits. The WT false-prophet was also involved in numerology and pyramidology...

You will note how Satanist or spiritistic types on this thread will try to play down what you have discovered and change your theme to their on agenda. Note the attitude like, "Well it really is not like that. It really has nothing to do with Satan. Of course, Satan is a liar, as well as his followers.

Satan loves for people to think he does not exist and that he doesn't affect us.

wait on jehovah, is an interesting terminology.

it is used basically to stop an action from taking place.

the inference would be that you should leave it in gods hands and in his due time he will maneuver things to address the matter.

I have a very good Baptist minister friend in
Tulsa, OK. who has helped free a number of
Jehovah's Witnesses from the WT Borg.

Not only has he scripturally helped them with
contraversial subjects like soul, spirit, body, trinity,
and so forth; he has help them free themselves of
Demons.

Demons do have names of course. The ones I think
relevant here to share that they dealth with were
those that called themselves jehovah, jesus, and
holy Spirit.

Of course these, more properly expressed, were a
false jehovah, a false jesus, and a false holy spirit.

So, when the WT says, Wait on Jehovah," one might realize
that there are false jehovahs, in the spirit realm.

Actually, as the false prophet they are, this fits in
with the WT scheme of things.

i've made friends with a mormon lady, and she told me that her 14yo daughter has thrown out all four harry potter books because she's realised they are dabbling in and encouraging demons.

then she told me about her demon experiences herself.

has any exjw, of sound mind, had a proper demon experience (as opposed to improper!!)?

Homeless JW's

The JW policy is not generally to help or care about homeless or impoverish people with their basic needs. A person of this sort mainly needs an ongoing dependable safe shelter and a job. The shelter certainly comes first.

So pay for a weeks rent for them somewhere, and then after you see they are better for that week, do two weeks for them. By then, they can probably get a job after they have gained strength and become clean enough. Go to a Good-Will store with them and get them clean clothes for them, and so forth.

That is what Jesus would want you to do. Also, in the Good Samaritan story, the helper did not try to start a Bible study with the man. The man was destitute.

If you want to help one or find one, go to a Salvation Army place, or some local church that helps indigent people, or some local hang-out park.

Whether he was a walk-in or an invite, if you and your crowd are repulsed by them; let an understanding adult, from some local church perhaps, deal with them, someone who has compassion and is motivated for results. Don't do the Witness trip on them please? It might ruin their life. ha ha They need Jesus Christ not the WT.

I went to a JW Bible study once. The house stank so much from [several] cat smell, one would almost gag. The pious fellow was not even homeless either. The man was up for being a ministerial servant.

Witnesses never think about what gift they might have in serving Christ or God. They usually are seeking some opportunity or responsibility in the congregation instead.

hello all, this is my first post here on this board.

i have been to other boards, but i thought i would grace you all with my prescence as well.

i know i just met some of you in the chat room.

Well, like the fellow said; I am a Christian, but I'm not going to hammer you on that.

Your little hole explanation is a good one. From being on this board, I realize a lot of people are in a deep chasm. Climbing out, I am sure is almost indescribable. I've been in a hole or two myself, and I realize there's always a possible next hole to fall in. So, I try to head them off.

I cannot depend on me, cause its not enough. If it was me alone, I would never persevere. I would be too selfish, too weak. I need something more superior than me or anyone else. I guess you can figure out what I am talking about.

Out of all you've been through, you've got a few things that provide you with a new day: education, awareness, vitality, ambition, possible security, time to condemplate, delights in what you can buy for yourself, and so forth.

But there is still a hole, I assume. Well maybe the hole, is a stable dependable source of love, away from disfunctional parents, and WT killer control. When you escaped, you were dizzy, dazed, hurting, and disoriented, I assume. Now you're on the streets of life, and you can pick and choose for better or worse.

What you do in the next year will affect you for your next 10 years of life. If you look at your tools for doing this, I'm sure you'll find you lack a few good ones. So, the same old physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual tools are what all people work with.

The most important are the spiritual tools. You know a bit about them, accept the ones you had were all rusty, dirty, oily, and broken. Now you can throw them all away, as most you have already done, but you still have to buy new ones.

You have to go to the same store, only now you're a lone shopper. You can get what is healthy, intelligent, rational, and natural, but you need love to help you select. Nobody does it right by themselves, and it's quite hard even when you allow help.

You have three things against you in the store: this world's values, the devil organization, and your imperfection. You can be a mystery shopper--no control. Your choice should be to your advantage. It determines your next decade of life.
